Climate Outcome

Humans have put a massive pulse of CO2 into the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels. Raising the temperature and bringing about changes to the weather and the environment all round the World.
Here we try to report on the changes that are already apparent and look at forecasts for the future and the outcome that will affect our lives.

Climate Change is not just about rising temperatures.

How is the changing climate going to affect me in my lifetime?
The most obvious outcome of climate change is rising temperatures but what we are looking for is how the changing temperatures affect the rainfall, wind and the oceans. How the extra heat will power storms and will melt glaciers causing sea levels to rise.

The increased level of CO2 is entering the ocean and changing the acidity of the sea with a potentially dangerous result for marine life.

Here we will examine the science for the cause and effect of the various sectors, world wide and hopefully put it into a shortened and easily understood format which accurately reflects the conclusions of scientists.

The prime aim of the web site is to examine what changes we have experienced already and what we can expect in the future. Primarily in New Zealand, but we are part of a wider World and so most changes are international.

Articles and links on the latest science and from New Zealand's concerned citizen scientists will be under Blogs.
